New release: The Hengles - Wrong Time (single)
“Going to the city, walking in the wrong town. Isn’t it a pity, falling to the wrong ground”. These first four lines set the mood for the new single of The Hengles: Wrong Time. The ongoing, relentless rhythm and hypnotic melodies of yet another Hok-P production are driving you through imaginary empty, foggy and dimly lit, lonely streets, asking yourself “What am I doing here? Why am I here? I must be living in the Wrong Time.”
But apart from that, it’s also a fine record that you can enjoy without all the existential mumbo jumbo that might blur the picture. Sometimes the Wrong Time is just the right time. And this is it! The Hengles are therefore happy to present to you Wrong Time.
In the past year, The Hengles have made considerable progress internationally. That resulted in airplay on radio in among others: Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, USA, UK, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Philippines, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand and Austria. Singles from the band also entered the iTunes / Apple Music charts in Netherlands, Finland, Belgium and Switzerland.
The distinguished gentlemen of The Hengles have more than earned their musical spurs in the past. The guys from Amsterdam played in illustrious 80s and 90s bands like Fatal Flowers, Treble Spankers, Supersub and Jack Of Hearts.
Wrong Time is out now!
