GALE SCOTT - MR. LOVERMAN
Jamaican songstress Gale Scott teams up with Grammy Award-winning producer Maurice Gregory to give us "Mr Loverman“.
Born in St. Ann, Jamaica, Gale Scott knew from a young age that she was going to do great things in her life. It took some time before Gale Scott could officially make her mark as a recording artist, but she knew that she wanted to be a part of the Entertainment Industry. Starting in 2015 after landing a full scholarship to Dubspot Music School in New York, Gale took on the role of a DJ and scored resident gigs at the famous Miss Lilly’s and Spur Tree Jamaican Restaurants and Hotspots, and Sattama Reggae Sundays. In 2017, she made her debut as a recording artist on the Tropical Bass duo Love Taps’ single, “Torn (Should I)”. The Feel Up Records released single showcased Gale’s unique vocal texture and tone, and she quickly caught the attention of many in the music scene. Since then she was writing and recording new material.
Five new songs will take on the world in 2021 as they will be featured on Gale’s debut EP, “Confessions” which will be released independently. Like her musical heroes Buju Banton, Tanya Stephens, Sade, and Toni Braxton, Gale Scott looks to make her mark in music, and leave a legacy for others to be inspired by.
